Beyond the Last Sky: Contemporary Palestinian Photography and Video curated by NIEA PhD candidate Chrisoula Lionis opened on Friday 31 August  2012 at the Australian Centre for Photography, and has received wide media coverage on TV, online (SBS, ABC, Al Jazeera) and in print (SMH). Featured artists include: Taysir Batniji, Khaled Hourani, Larissa Sansour, Khalil Rabah, Raeda Saadeh, Sharif Waked, Yazan Khalili, Jacqueline Reem Salloum, Amer Shomali and Tarzan and Arab. The project was featured on SBS.
