NIEA research in media and innovation encompasses a wide range of interdisciplinary practice. Characterised by experimental methodologies that go beyond the established fields of art and communication, it promotes creative engagement with the rapidly changing context of contemporary media.
Collaborations with industry, government and leading international universities underpin cutting edge media art experiments and industry applications in the iCinema Centre for Interactive Cinema Research, the Holography Lab and a range of other media arts groups.
