Research areas

The Creative Robotics Lab (CRL) is the first cross-disciplinary laboratory in Australasia focusing on experimental human-robot interaction. Visitors will have the opportunity to interact with the android robot, Geminoid F, created by Prof. Yoshio Matsumoto (leader of Service Robotics Research Group, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science & Technology, Japan) & the humanoid robot, Diamandini, created by Associate Prof. Mari Velonaki (Director Creative Robotics Lab, NIEA, UNSW) & Associate Prof. David Rye (Australian Centre for Field Robotics, University of Sydney).
