The Project
Project X3 is an Experiential Multi Disciplinary Learning and Teaching Research Environment at across 3 Faculties, the College of Fine Arts, the Faculty of the Built Environment and the Faculty of Engineering at UNSW.
Our aim of the research group is to investigate and create a new studio environment, which facilitates collaborative research, learning and teaching and provides students with the opportunity to experience a more progressive studio and work experience and an understanding of the multi-disciplinary nature of the professions they are about to enter Design for construction is an intensely multi-disciplinary affair, involving artists, architects, engineers, managers, and designers of all kinds. Project X3 is intended to give students the experience and understanding that come from working across discipline boundaries.
What better way to do that than through a multi-disciplinary design education process?
